What's the meter for the melody? It sounds like 4/4 drums but the melody is hard to pinpoint. Maybe it's a 3/4 melody to a 4/4 drums polymeter?

the melody is 3/4 to a 4/4 drum, but the last 2 parts of the melody are 4/4.
